The Purpose of Partnership Parke County
The purpose of Partnership Parke County (Partnership Parke), Incorporated is to enable Parke County, Indiana to improve their quality of life and provide direction for economic growth.  As a non-profit organization, we have performed vigorous investigation of other successful like counties, multiple discussions with Parke County, Indiana’s incorporated towns, residents, and local organizations to identify needs, and in-depth discussions with our local county government.

Why We Exist
Through our research, Partnership Parke has determined that it can serve the county on a full-time basis to assist the local county government to meet the economic development needs and growth for Parke County, Indiana. Partnership Parke has a close connection relationship with Parke County Redevelopment Commission, a local government entity, whose goals are also to meet and improve the economic needs for Parke County, Indiana.

Our Programs, Services & Responsibilities
Partnership Parke promotes programs and activities once performed by Parke County Redevelopment Commission in the pursuance of economic growth and development by implementing those activities and programs for private individuals, businesses, local municipalities, and community groups.

Our scope of services include the managing the process for tax abatements, commissioner property tax certificate sale, and the revolving loan grant. In addition, Partnership Parke is responsible for infrastructure and business development, site location, and business retention and expansion.


 
 

Cyndi Todd, Executive Director

Cyndi is a graduate of Montezuma High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Harrison College.  She is a long-time resident of Parke County and lives in Montezuma with her husband Dennis. In her previous position as Director of Customer Care, she spent twenty years focused on all channels of customer service, process improvement, and project management for a multi-facility direct mail company.  Cyndi has also held roles involving marketing and business management. 

At present, Cyndi is the Executive Director for Partnership Parke County, the Economic Development Office for Parke County. She was a leader in the creation of Partnership Parke County and has been the Director of the non-profit since its inception in 2015. She has received a Certificate of Completion for Indiana Economic Development Course, International Economic Development Certification, and Community Development Course from Ball State University. During her tenure in this position, Cyndi has facilitated projects in Parke County in excess of $18M of investment. Many of these involve infrastructure improvements or expansions, Brownfield developments, connecting resources and other grant funded opportunities.

She serves on many boards representing Parke County such as, PCARET, Community Action Program of Western Indiana, Accelerate West Central Indiana, Indiana Small Business Advisory Board, and the Indiana Economic Development Association. She welcomes the opportunity to help her community and take on projects that will improve a business or enhance a resident's experience.

Alice Finch, Administrative Assistant

Alice is a graduate of Rockville High School and holds an Associates degree from Ivy Tech College.  She grew up in Parke County and she and her husband, David, returned to the county a few years ago and live near Montezuma.  She worked as an assistant for an insurance company and was responsible for creating geographic reports to help members locate the nearest health care professional.  She then worked in the pharmaceutical industry for several years with an emphasis on organizational efficiency,  project work and recruiting.  Alice is pleased to be in Parke County and making contributions in the community.
