MainStreet Rockville

The MainStreet Rockville program is a team of residents, merchants and other interested citizens who believe that Rockville, Indiana, is a special place to visit, live, work, shop and stay.  Their dedicated, passionate members engage in a variety of activities to spotlight and enhance the many virtues of Rockville and Parke County.  They organize several events throughout the year, including the Rockville Cruise-In and Hometown Holidays. MainStreet Rockville also is responsible for creating the Rockville Hospitality Guide and the MainStreet Rockville Locator Map.  The MainStreet Rockville program is an arm of Indiana MainStreet.

Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC)

The ISBDC creates a positive and measurable impact on the formation, growth and sustainability of Indiana's small businesses by providing entrepreneurs expert guidance and a comprehensive network of resources.

Indiana Secretary of State

Historically the duties of the office included the maintenance of state records and preservation of the state seal, but as state government expanded so did the responsibilities of the Secretary of State. Present duties include chartering of new business, regulation of the securities industry, oversight of state elections, commissioning of notaries public, registration of trademarks and licensing of vehicle dealerships throughout Indiana.

Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC)

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) is the State of Indiana's lead economic development agency. The IEDC was officially established in February 2005 to replace the former Department of Commerce. In order to respond quickly to the needs of businesses, the IEDC operates like a business.

Led by Indiana Secretary of Commerce Victor Smith, the IEDC is organized as a public private partnership governed by a 12-member board. The IEDC Board of Directors is chaired by Governor Michael Pence and reflects the geographic and economic diversity of Indiana. The IEDC focuses its efforts on growing and retaining businesses in Indiana and attracting new business to the State.

Parke County Convention & Visitors Center

The Parke County Convention & Visitors Center is responsible for the collected in-keepers tax and creating marketing efforts to aid the county.
